for BRAC EPL Account Opening
Any Resident Bangladeshi or Non-Resident Bangladeshi (NRB) holding a valid NID/Smart ID card can open a BO Account.
The process is fully online through our iDesk app:
a) Click on “Open BO Account” button from home page.
b) Enter your mobile number and email address.
c) Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number or email address
d) Provide your NID details and personal information.
e) Fill in account-related details (nominee, bank info, etc.).
f) Upload the required documents and pay the required fee.

You will need to upload:
a) A recent passport-size photograph (Account Holder & Nominee).
b) National ID (NID/Smart ID) card of both Account Holder & Nominee.
c) Signature (Maximum size - 25KB) of both Account Holder & Nominee.
d) A scanned copy of your bank cheque leaf or bank statement, which includes account holder’s name, account number and routing number.
e) TIN number is optional, not mandatory.

After submission:
a) A confirmation email will be sent to your inbox from CDBL with your BO ID number (within 1 working day).
b) A Relationship Manager will contact you via email or phone call.

The one-time fee for opening a BO Account with BRAC EPL Stock Brokerage Ltd is BDT 150 online.
You can start trading once you receive account activation confirmation and have necessary funds in your account.
Your account is usually ready within one working day. Once you receive confirmation:
a) Deposit funds into your BO Account.
b) You can also contact your Relationship Manager about the deposit and start trading via him/her.
c) You can also do your own trading through BRAC EPL TRADE app. Ask your RM to enable trading for you. You will get your username and password if enabled. Download the app BRAC EPL TRADE through Google Play or App Store to be your own trader.

We offer multiple convenient options:
a) Internet Banking: Transfer funds to BRAC EPL’s designated bank account and upload/email the receipt via iDesk or at any BRAC EPL branch.
b) Cheque Deposit: Deposit a cheque into BRAC EPL’s designated bank account and upload/email the deposit slip.
c) bKash: Make payment via the bKash app and share the Transaction ID through iDesk or by email.
d) iDesk: You can conveniently deposit online via the iDesk portal—simply log in, make your deposit, and complete the payment using your card.

a) Annual Fee / CDBL Charges
i. An annual fee of BDT 150 is charged by CDBL.
ii. This fee is deducted on June 30 each year.
iii. To avoid suspension/closure of your BO Account, please ensure the required balance is available before deduction.
b) Maintenance Fee
i. The annual maintenance fee is BDT 250, which is deducted automatically at the end of each calendar year.
ii. Please make sure the required balance is available in your account to avoid suspension.
c) Charges will be applicable if the payment is made through mobile or internet banking.
i. An annual fee of BDT 150 is charged by CDBL.
ii. This fee is deducted on June 30 each year.
iii. To avoid suspension/closure of your BO Account, please ensure the required balance is available before deduction.
